you see, none of this is actually SM’s fault. but i’ll tell you where it’s really their fault and where they fail big time as a management: they (apparently) weren’t there when he fainted so the fans (!!!!) had to call for help, the fans, not SM, are taking legal action against any harassment or any bad comments made during this episode. the worst of it all is this: in the end they have the power over yixing. over his schedule. over the concerts. but they still just let him hop on the plane tomorrow and do the concerts in Japan. this isn’t a game people, just a few days ago joonmyeon said that yixing doesn’t sleep and that they’re all worried and now he faints due to lack of sleep and doesn’t regain consciousness even when the fans try to give him water and fan him and try to wake him. this isn’t something that can be healed within a few hours and then he’ll be good to do rehearsals as well as an exhausting concert not even 24 hours later. this is where SM is in the wrong, by not stopping him. this is why their management is shitty. this is why this whole situation is shitty. him going tomorrow only means that his condition is going to get worse and worse and how is this gonna end then? what’s the end result? this can’t go on like this. they need to get their act together and understand when to step in and when to “respect an idols wishes”. what yixing needs the most right now is someone to take proper care of him with tight control who won’t give in to whatever yixing wants and says.
